How it works:

The program consists of five sessions. Three plenary sessions (welcome, key note, panel discussion) and 2 break-out sessions (with a limited amount of participants). 

  • Please register for the sessions of your choice below; you should be able to register with your UvAnetID.
  • When a break out session is fully booked, you will be placed on a waiting list.
  • Please noteOnce you've selected all the sessions you want to attend, click confirm at the bottom right and click again on register and follow the steps. 
  • If you don't receive a confirmation e-mail right after your registration, please let us know via m.vanderputte@uva.nl

13:15-13:50    Welcome by Prof. Dr. Agneta Fischer, Dean of the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Science and key note by Inge van der Weijden on the transferable skills of Academics
14:00-15:00    break-out sessions round 1 (more info below)
15:15-16:15    break-out sessions round 2 (more info below)
16:15-17:15    Panel discussion: alumni talking about their career path and career possibilities for academics
